February: Comedy Nite Out
Comedy Nite Out is held in conjunction with the Funny Stop Comedy Club. Proceeds benefit the BHSAA, Inc. Membership Committee.
April: Soul Bowl
The Soul Bowl was introduced to the community in the Spring of 2002. With a family focus theme, it is designed to entertain the entire family at a low cost.
May: Senior Class Awards Banquet
Deserving students are awarded the annual BHSAA, Inc Scholarship in the following categories. Post-Secondary Career Technology Program, College Bound Non Student Athlete, and College Bound Male/Female Student Athlete.
Family Day at the Zoo
Another family oriented event, featuring Live Jazz.
Community Health Fair (sponsored by Summa Health Systems)
The focus of this event is Health awareness, free medical screenings such as Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Prostrate, Hypertension & Sickle Cell are available.
November: Turkey Day Flag Football Classic (Thanksgiving Weekend)
A spirited flag football game between Even and Odd alumni teams. The winner is crowned "Champion" and maintain bragging rights for the year.
Series record: Even Years (7 wins) to Odd Years (7 wins)
November: Turkey Day Jam (Thanksgiving Weekend)
The marquee social event of the Association. Monies raised from this event support the BHSAA Scholarship and Endowment Fund with the Akron Community Foundation, the Student Activity Fund, and general operating budget.
