Crag Burn Golf Club

Located in the village of East Aurora less than 30 minutes from the heart of Buffalo, Crag Burn Golf Club serves as one of the homes of the Canisius golf program.

Opened in 1972, the Robert Trent Jones-track served as the host site for the 2018 Little Three Golf Championship, an annual competition that features fellow Western New York Division I schools Niagara and St. Bonaventure. The facility plays host to the annual Canisius Blue & Gold Golf Classic, held each Summer.

The 18-hole layout features a front nine that draws inspiration from parks-style courses as it runs through the wooded section of the property. The back nine has a more open, traditional feel of a links course. Seven ponds are strategically placed around the course to enhance the design with the soil providing topography for tees and greens.

The practice facility at Crag Burn is widely considered to be one of the finest in the country. A state-of-the art, 13,500-square-foot maintenance facility was constructed in 1991, and remains one of the largest in Western New York.

???Crag Burn Golf Club is ranked among the top 30 best golf courses in New York State by the 2017 Golf Digest Rankings. The 7,150 yard, par-72 course, with USGA course rating of 75.2 and a slope of 131.
