Donation Request Information

The Canisius athletic department is happy to fulfill donation requests that benefit charitable causes and/or fundraising events.

Supporting Western New York is an important element of the Golden Griffin athletic department, and as part of our community outreach initiatives we are pleased to support organizations in need of additional funds. To ensure fairness, the requests must be agreeable to the guidelines below. After the form is completed and returned to the location(s) below, a representative from the athletic department with be in contact with you.

To request a donation, an organization must be institutional, charitable, educational or nonprofit.

Per NCAA rules, donations may not benefit any prospective student-athlete, parents of a student-athlete, teachers, and/or coaches.

According to NCAA rule, a prospective student-athlete is someone who has begun the ninth (9th) grade.
Items will not be donated to any entity that benefits a junior college, prep school, or high school.
For a donation request to be considered, it must be submitted at least three weeks prior to the date of the event.
