The Canisius University Spirit Squads, made up of the Blue & Gold Brigade, Cheer Team, Dance Griffs, C-Block and beloved mascot Petey, are the heart of the Golden Griffins’ school pride. The spirit squads are made up of more than 250 students that work together in order to energize the Canisius University community at various games, events and community activities.
