The Peacocks (0-18, 0-7 MAAC) were paced by nine kills from Mackenzie Tucker and 12 assists from Lily Konrad. Morgan Thurlow would add three blocks and as a team, the home side hit at a clip of .256 (31-11-78).

Tied 11-all midway through the first set, the Griffs offense would take off, erupting for a 10-4 spurt that saw the visitors take control of the set, 21-15. After an exchange of the next three points, the Blue and Gold would close the frame with a short 3-0 spurt, led by two kills from junior outside hitter Kara Zaucha and a service ace from junior libero Jillian Hanna to claim the opening frame, 25-17.

In a back-and-forth second set, the Griffs and Peacocks would be knotted at 17-17 late in the frame. The Griffs broke the deadlock with a kill from freshman outside hitter Lauren Hubert, which ignited an 8-2 run that saw the Griffs take the frame, 25-19, and a 2-0 match lead.

The third set was another close affair, with the two sides tied at 16-all midway through the frame. The Blue and Gold would use a 6-1 run to take a 21-17 lead before the two sides closed the match exchanging scores, capped by Mosquera notching her career-best 14th kill to secure the 25-21 set victory and the sweep.
