2023-24 • FRESHMAN SEASON
• Appeared in 34 games
• Scored two goals and added five assists for seven points
• Recorded first collegiate point with an assist in 5-3 victory against Holy Cross (Nov. 3)
• Tallied first career goal with a shorthanded marker at Sacred Heart (Nov. 10)
• Notched game-winning goal in 6-4 triumph at Army (Nov. 17)
• Finished with an assist in both games of home-and-home series versus Mercyhurst (Dec. 1-2)
• Posted an assist on opening goal in series finale at Battle of the Bridge rival Niagara (Jan. 20)
• Assisted on opening goal in game two of AHA Postseason quarterfinal round series at Holy Cross (March 9)

BEFORE CANISIUS
• Played two seasons for the Penticton Vees (BCHL), helping lead the squad to back-to-back Fred Page Cup titles (2021-23)
• Amassed 29 goals and 34 assists for 63 points in 103 regular-season contests with the Vees, highlighted by a 2022-23 season that saw him post career highs in goals (20), assists (21) and points (41)
• Chipped in 16 points (9g/7a) in 34 postseason games with Penticton
• Junior teammates with current Canisius forward Stefano Bottini on the Vees for the 2021-22 campaign
• Began his junior career with the Sioux City Musketeers, registering two goals and 10 assists in 93 games played over two seasons (2019-21)

• Son of Joe and Tina Nieuwendyk
• Has two sisters, Tyra and Kaycee
• Father, Joe, was a 1985 draft pick of the Calgary Flames (27th overall) who played more than 1,200 games for five franchises (Calgary, Dallas, New Jersey, Toronto, Florida) during his 20-year career in the NHL
• The 1988 Calder Trophy Winner and the recipient of the Conn Smythe Trophy in 1999, Joe Nieuwendyk is a three-time Stanley Cup Champion (Calgary – 1989, Dallas 1999, New Jersey – 2003) who was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2011
• Joe played collegiate hockey at Cornell, where he was a two-time All-American selection
