Samantha Palma is in her fourth season as a member of the Canisius swimming and diving coaching staff.
Prior to joining the Canisius coaching staff, Palma was an assistant coach for two years with the Town Wreckers Swim Team in Orchard Park, N.Y. With the Town Wreckers, Palma assisted the head coach and helped lead practices.
Palma swam collegiately at the University at Buffalo for four seasons. During her time with the Bulls, Palma was a Mid-American Conference finalist and two-time MAC All-Academic Team selection in 2009 and 2010. Palma is a two-time graduate of the school, receiving her bachelor of arts in history in 2010 and master of arts in history in 2012.
Following her time as a student-athlete, Palma joined the Canisius staff, where she was an assistant coach for three years.
She then became an assistant at Ashland University for three seasons. At Ashland, Palma was the recruiting and travel coordinator for the team, assisting with official visits for prospective student-athletes and organizing travel for away meets.
