A two-time graduate of Canisius and a former graduate assistant in the University's Career Center, Lindy Feider is in her fourth year as the associate director of academic achievement and student-athlete support services.

In her role, Feider works closely with all 20 of the school's intercollegiate athletic programs, providing academic advising and support for its student-athletes. An avid supporter of the Griffs, she attends many Canisius sporting events and takes action photos for use on GoGriffs.com and the school's social media accounts.

Feider is also active in the greater Canisius community, volunteering for campus events with athletics, student affairs, campus ministry and at commencement ceremonies.

A native of Buffalo, Feider returned to Canisius after spending the previous 12 years as an academic advisement counselor and student-athlete support at Medaille College. In that role, she counseled a caseload of more than 200 undergraduate students regarding academic requirements, while also assisting with student registration. The recipient of Medaille's Student Government Association Staff Member of the Year Award in 2017 and 2019, she supervised and trained graduate assistants and undergraduate student staff in the school's Advisement Center.

In her role with Medaille's athletic department, she served as the academic advisement liaison between student-athletes, coaches and academic advisement counselors to ensure student-athletes were in good academic standing and meeting academic progress in accordance with NCAA regulations.

The winner of the 2016 Medaille athletic department's Maverick Award, Feider served on numerous committees at the school and also spent her free time volunteering to help the academic and athletic departments in various roles.

Feder earned her undergraduate degree in history and European studies from Canisius in 2006 and then went on to earn her master's degree from the College in college student personnel administration in 2008.
