Max Sacco enters his second year as an athletic communications graduate assistant. He currently serves as the primary media contact for the Golden Griffins' women's basketball, women's lacrosse, volleyball and rowing programs.
 
Sacco is a 2022 graduate of Hofstra University with a major in public relations and minors in history and journalism. While at Hofstra, he was a member of 88.7FM WRHU Radio Hofstra University where he served as the Program Director of Talk, Sports Social Media Director and play-by-play broadcaster for multiple Hofstra sports. Sacco also worked with the New York Islanders while at WRHU and produced award-nominated in-game features, interviewed past and present Islanders and broadcasted live in-game updates for 98.7FM ESPN.
 
Prior to graduating, Sacco also interned with two other athletic communications offices at Molloy College and Long Island University. While at Molloy, he served as the main contact for men’s lacrosse and assisted in the offices day-to-day operations. At LIU, Sacco served as the primary contact for men’s golf and women’s tennis along with serving as the secondary contact for men’s/women’s lacrosse, softball, men’s/women’s track and field and men’s/women’s ice hockey.

A proud Carol Stream, Ill., native, Sacco is pursuing his masters in sports administration at Canisius. He also is the proud father of his two-year old French bulldog, Carlos.
