• Recorded 53 strikeouts and 21 walks in 40.0 innings of work

• Five of his seven saves saw him pitch 2.0 innings or longer
• Recorded win in collegiate debut versus Pittsburgh (Feb. 20), allowing one run on two hits and three walks in 3.1 innings of relief work
• Posted first collegiate save at Charleston Southern, scattering one hit over three shutout innings while striking out three (March 13) 
• Picked up the save with two shutout innings of work at Quinnipiac (April 3) 
• Struck out a season-high five batters in 2.0 innings of work to earn the win against Iona (April 8)
• Fanned four of the seven batters he faced in 2.0 innings of relief to record the save at Siena (April 29) 
• Turned in a six-out save in MAAC Championship contest against Rider (May 27)
BEFORE CANISIUS
• Earned three varsity letters in baseball, basketball and volleyball at St. Francis High after transferring from Notre Dame College in his native Ontario
• Was a First Team All-Catholic and to the All-Western New York Second Team in baseball
• Posted a .310 career batting average at St. Francis, hitting five home runs
• On the mound, registered a 1.50 ERA, throwing three shutouts — two of which were no-hitters — and logging 60 strikeouts in 55.2 innings of work
• Batted .279 in his senior year, hitting three home runs and driving in 20 runs
• Had an ERA of 1.83 in his final prep campaign, tossing a no-hitter and recording six saves. He also fanned 31 batters in 30.2 innings
• On the basketball court, was a two-time selection to the All-Catholic First Team while also earning first- and second-team All-Western New York honors
• Broke the high school record for most three-pointers made in a single-season (72), while scoring 1,142 career points

• Has a brother, Royce, who played 272 career minor league games with the Oakland Athletics organization after being drafted in the 30th round of the 2009 MLB Draft
