• The men's and women's indoor track teams return to action Friday and Saturday at the Penn State Invitational in University Park, Pa.
• Canisius continued their record breaking last weekend at the Spire Midwest Open in Geneva, Ohio breaking four more school records.
• On the women's side, two school records were broken. Senior Maura Jordan won the 400-meter dash with a time of 58:04, while graduate student Olivia Moran won the one-mile race with a time of 5:02.36.
• For the Canisius men, Braden Tent broke his own record he last at SPIRE last year in the 600-meter race with a time of 1:23.80, while sophomore Arthur Hartel knocked one tenth off of his own school record in the 60m dash finishing in 7.80.
• This is the first time that the Golden Griffins are taking place in the Penn State National.
• Canisius is back in action Feb. 3-4 in the Youngstown Invitational at the Watson & Tressel Training Site in Youngstown, Ohio.
