Edholm's 70 Highlights Round Two at Bucknell Invite

Canisius junior Ryan Edholm fired an even-par score of 70, and the Golden Griffins carded a team-score of 297 on Monday in the second round of the Bucknell Invitational at Bucknell Golf Club in Lewisburg, Pa.

Edholm's 70, his sixth round at-par or better this fall season, allowed the Tonawanda, N.Y., native to move 36 spots up the leaderboard after his opening round 79. He sits in 52nd place in the field after the event's first 36 holes. He had a birdie on both the front and back nine on Monday, highlighted by his birdie-4 on the par-5 ninth hole, which was his final hole of the afternoon.

Freshman Alex Schickling shot a 75 on Monday, a round that featured his first collegiate eagle after he scored a three on the par-5 third hole. He is tied for 53rd in the field after two rounds, where he sits eight spots ahead of teammate and fellow freshman Jake Dantonio. Dantonio shot 75 on Monday as well.

As a team, Canisius moved up one spot on the team leader board with its score of 297. The Griffs are in 15th place in the tournament, just four strokes back of 14th-place Cornell. Colgate leads the team portion of the tournament after two days, as the Raiders are the only team in the field with a team-score under-par for the event.

The third and final round of the Bucknell Invitational will be played on Tuesday morning.
