• The first men’s lacrosse player to earn All-American honors, Jones earned four varsity letters as a Griff during his career from 2007-10.
• One of only two players in school history to earn All-MAAC First Team honors three times in his career, Jones closed his playing career at Canisius ranked in the top-15 in career points (129) and career goals scored (98).
• In 2007, he helped lead the Blue and Gold to the program’s first MAAC men’s lacrosse championship after he scored 38 goals.
• Jones went on to play nine seasons in the National Lacrosse League after being taken with the third pick in the 2011 NLL Draft by the Colorado Mammoth. The 2012 NLL Rookie of the Year, he recorded 629 career points after recording 319 career goals and 310 career assists.
