Jody Tassone, Class of 1997- Softball

• Starting every game that she played at Canisius, Tassone led Golden Griffins softball to a 133-32 overall record, including 45-3 in the MAAC
• School's all-time leader in doubles and triples, and also ranks second in RBIs
• Her best season came in 1994 as a sophomore, when she finished fifth in the nation in batting average, 27th in RBIs, and 17th in slugging percentage
• Earned MAAC Player of the Year award and a Mid-Atlantic Region First-Team All-American while at Canisius
