  • Named First Team Academic All-American in 1983, and one of only three first team selections in Canisius history.
  • Held the school records for 800 meters (1:56.4), the mile competition (4:29.41) and 1500 meters (4:02.8).
  • He held the record for cross country for 4.6 miles at 23:20 at the time he graduated.
  • Received a graduate and doctoral degree in Information and Computer Science from Georgia Tech, where he earned a perfect 4.0 GPA.
  • Fourth member of the track and cross country programs inducted in the Hall of Fame.
