Canisius University Athletics

• Chief administrator for the college's athletic department from 1974-2000
• Played a major role in the Golden Griffins jump to the MAAC in 1989, and was also instrumental in the creation of the ECAC Football Conference
• During his lengthy tenure at Canisius, the Demske Sports Complex was created, and the men's basketball team made four postseason appearances, including an NIT Final Four in 1995
• Other athletic department accomplishments included two NCAA invites for the softball program and nationally competitive synchronized swimming and rifle teams
