Joanne Wright, Synchronized Swimming coach (1993-2004)

• Started the program at the club level in 1992, advancing to varsity one year later
• The program won 11 East Regional Championships under her leadership, and also boasted ten All-Americans, including five in 2000
• Six swimmers finished in the top six of the solo event at the U.S. Collegiate Championships
• Also led Canisius to six third-place finishers and three fourth-place finishes
• Officially recognized for FINA and known as the "mother" of synchornized swimnming at Canisius College
