• Ranked as one of the top guards in Canisius basketball history after beating the Boston Terriers, coached by Rick Pitino, and also had a 38-point effort against the Dayton Flyers
• Played with the Golden Griffins for two seasons before being drafted in the seventh round of the 1982 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks
• He ranked among school leaders in assists with 223 at the time he was inducted
• The Griffs earned a 19-8 record in the 1981-82 season, and would become an assistant coach for the team
