• As a senior, she was a New York State and National Collegiate Champion bowler
• That same year, she represented Canisius and the U.S. in the World Cup of Bowling competition held in the Philippines
• After graduating, she would coach the men's and women's bowling teams for two years
• The 1976 men's team, winners of both the regional and state tournaments, finished ranked sixth in the nation
• She also played volleyball and basketball while at Canisius
