Richard Mazuca, Class of 1950, MD '58- Football

• Third Mazuca brother to play for the Golden Griffins, with his older brothers Bob and Vince playing before him at Canisius
• WWII would interrupt his college football career, but he returned in 1946
• Chosen as team captain for his senior season and the Griffs would go on to earn a 7-2 overall record and the Little Three championship
• Became a teacher at Eden High School, West Seneca, and his alma mater, Grover Cleveland, where he worked from 1959 until his retirement in 1974
