Jim Foley, Class of 1951, MS'60- Cross Country and Track & Field

• Joined the Canisius cross country and track teams after serving in the U.S. Navy
• Captain for the 8-0 1950 Canisius track team, which is still the only school track team to go unbeaten
• He led Canisius to their first ever Little Three championship and Knights of Columbus trophy in 1950, which is awarded to the highest finishing catholic college at the Le Moyne invitational
• Foley won individual titles at each event that year in his respected events, which ranged from the 100-meter dash to the mile
• 13th member of the cross country & track programs inducted in the Hall of Fame
